About Me

Career

I am a professional in the biotech field with an interest in data science and medical device development. Coming from a family of healthcare workers and with a history as an EMT, I have always been interested in improving medical technologies.

I have experience working in large corporations, startups, and everything in-between, but regardless I have always found myself drawn to the most innovative and impactful technologies to work on.

Personal

I was born in the UK and moved to the US as a child, where I am now a dual citizen. I grew up all over but spent most of my time on a farm where I cared for chickens, cows, goats, and pigs.

I started an egg delivery business with my brother which lasted 6 years, won a local small business award, and gave 25% of the profits to Heifer International, which provides livestock and support for small farmers in developing countries - you can check them out here: Heifer International.

Supporting sustainable and local farming is very important to me now, and addressing food inequality through ag-tech innovations is a field which is really inspiring to me, and one I’ll hopefully cross paths with one day.

Travel

I have lived in several places through my life, moving with my family and relocating for work and school. Moving around a lot as a kid helped develop my love to travel, which I satisfy with everything from road trips to hiking to backpacking. Here you can see a mainly complete list of all the places I have lived for at least a few months, places I have visited for more than just passing through in green, and the stars showing the places on my bucket list:
